ITINERARY, DAY BY DAY
- DAY 1
- From Arusha to Serengeti
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Arusha around 7:00am and we will drive to Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti National Park covers 14,763 sq kms and is the world’s last great wildlife refuge as it contains approximately three million animals. According to the season they might be less due to the migration. Serengeti name originates from the Maasai ‘Siringet’, which means « endless plains ».
- DAY 2
- Full day in Serengeti
The Central Serengeti is all year long surrounded by resident animals. It is also one of the best areas to admire the leopard, that you may encounter in the sausage trees, not far from the Seronera River.
During the dry season (from Juno to November), the lions, also called the « resident prides », begin their migration to the center of the park.
- DAY 3
- From Serengeti to Ngorongoro
We will stay in Serengeti National Park for the whole morning, then, after lunch, we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater and spend the night in the Park.
- DAY 4
- From Ngorongoro to Arusha
The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater of the world. The old volcanic eruption created a natural enclosure of 19kms wide. This Crater is now populated by Acacia trees and contains around 30,000 animals. We hope to see the black rhinoceros and we are assured to see flamingoes, elephants, lions and different bids.
We might also see the Maasai population grazing their own buffalos and other wildbeasts.
